We were heading up facing -40c degrees with 60 kmph of winds (which decreases the temperature by between -30 to -50 more due to the wind chill factor) and after 8 hours from camp 3 we arrived to the "Canaletto", the most dangerous part. It's a steep cliff,400 meter high, a combination of ice and rock that separate between you and the Aconqugua summit. Wrong step in this narrow path and you can find yourself free falling . Clouds were closing on us and a snow storm just started. Doing the Canaletto in a regular weather is difficult but in those conditions it will be extremely hard.
